Through the years there have always excited extravagant over the top wedding cakes. They go from many tier, to lots of handmade details to sizes that can feed the world’s poor. 
However now days seems that they have left no extra room for the imagination. Wedding cakes went from extravagant and big to hanging and upside down. 
If you look closely at the pictures most of this over the top cakes have taken the center of the dance floor and most likely were the center of attention of the party. Seems to me that all this cake stole the show from the bride and groom.
Although their uniqueness and beauty is unquestionable I wonder how many people actually prefer this new cake style versus the traditional one.
